Olympia, WA – In an attempt to get Jay Inslee reelected in 2020, the Washington State Democrat Party is offering a “dream job” for someone to make $500 by watching 500 straight hours of Inslee’s various speeches and press conferences throughout the last 20 years.
Spokesperson Judi Trawling said the winning applicant will receive $500, a streaming service subscription to the Democrat Channel, a lifetime supply of paper straws, a leather-bound special edition of The Communist Manifesto, a bag of human-compost, and a signed photograph of Inslee eating a Red Delicious apple.
“We’re looking for a lover of all things Inslee and what he’s done to our state,” said Trawling. “If they can stay awake for the whole 500 hours we know we have a winner. Actually not ‘winner’ as that sounds mean to the losers, but an extremely qualified person of excellence.”
Trawling says the person will be asked to stream their Inslee binge on Facebook. “We want to create an awareness of how great Inslee is. If someone can watch 500 straight hours of this man talking about taxes and climate change, then certainly the voters of Washington State can vote for him in 2020. Is that too much to ask?”
Interested lovers of Jay Inslee are being asked to apply online and prepare a short video and essay why they should be the one to make this attempt. The winner will be picked next month.
