Petitioner Who Wanted I-5 ‘Uncle Sam Sign’ Removed Now Loves It Because It Says ‘WE HATE AMERICA NOW!’

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Napavine, WA – The controversial billboard on Interstate 5, commonly known as the ‘Uncle Sam sign’, has a new saying: “WE HATE AMERICA NOW!”.

The Hamilton family who owns the sign had no comment on why they decided to go left-wing.

Commuters are confused by this new sign, as traditionally it has had conservative and right-wing quotes and sayings, such as “YOU GET TO CHOOSE: MURDERS & BEHEADINGS OR A PROTECTED BORDER”, “DO THE TAX TAKERS NOW OUTNUMBER THE TAX PAYERS?” and “WOMEN ARE MEANT TO BE CHERISHED NOT LIBERATED.”

Caleb Geringer created a petition to remove the sign, which he called hateful and bigoted. “I hated that sign and all that it represents because it offended me and my pet lizard, Lizzie. Sure, freedom of speech is important to some people, but that doesn’t matter to me. So I decided I want that private sign on private property torn down,” said Geringer. “It’s my right to take away their rights. Everyone knows that. Duh.”

However, because the sign was changed to “WE HATE AMERICA NOW!”, Geringer has had a change of heart. “I love this sign now because we all can agree to hate America, the worst country that ever was born,” said Geringer. “So because I now agree with this speech, I will remove my petition and support this billboard. I love America now because they hate America now! I know the logic is confusing, but just go with me on this.”

Geringer then started to chant “USA! USA!” and put on a red MAGA hat.

Jared Garner drove by it every day on his way to work in Chehalis. “I loved that sign, as it told the truth that I believed in. My truth is important and if you have a problem with it, you need to leave this country now.”

However, Garner has started a new petition to remove the billboard he once loved. “I used to love this sign. But this is just going too far and it needs to go. If you hate America, you can leave it and put that sign up in Canada or Syria or California. I’m offended. Free speech is overrated. Duh.”
